Is pq divisible by 168? Number Properties p105 Q5

Is pq divisible by 168?
(1) p is divisible by 14
(2) q is divisible by 12

The Answer in the Book is C. However, why isn't it E?

LCM of 12 and 14 = 2x2x3x7 = 84

84 is not evenly divisible by 168. So aren't both statements insufficient?

Re: Is pq divisible by 168? Number Properties p105 Q5

Thanks Jamie! (sorry for taking such a long time!)

A follow up to this. 0 is also a multiple of 14 and 12. Is being a multiple of a number different from being divisible by it in this case?

Using 1 vs 2 Smart Numbers.

Hello, Could anyone explain when we can use 2 Smart Numbers to solve a problem and when we can only use 1? How many grams of fat does the lean ground beef have? My method: 20 grams lean : 50 grams fatty : 70 grams total x% f...

Re: HAD been vs. HAS been

I have also been wondering about the difference.

For example:

She has played soccer
She had played soccer
She had been playing soccer
She was playing soccer

Although I get them intuitively, could you give an explanation of the difference?

Many thanks.

Re: OG Archer - Difficulty View

Was thinking the same thing. While using OG Archer, it became natural for me to check difficulty level.
