Remainders and decimals - can someone pls elaborate on the very last paragraph of the page where it states:
7B = 20R
"otherwise, there is no way for a 7 to appear on the left side"

Why?

AWA - Issue Topic on online lab

For the online lab on AWA, the issue example: "Schools should not..." Can my take (if I chose "against") be: "Should not" is too strong of a term, as it is impossible to not teach any specialized info & techniques and be able to teach transferrable or general skills...

I've once heard the preference for "such as" instead of "like", is this a valid GMAT preference?

Quicker & More Quickly for SC portion - I don't understand what Emily was talking about regarding "Quicker" vs. "More Quickly" in the online lab - around the 2 hour mark. Can you please elaborate?

f(x)=f(1-x) for all x

Q I got wrong in the practice exam - can you pls explain this to me?

For which of the following functions f is f(x)=f(1-x) for all x

a) f(x)=1-x
b) f(x)=1-x^2
c) f(x)=x^2 - (1-x)^2
d) f(x)=x^2 (1-x)^2
e) f(x)=x / (1-x)

The correct ans was D, but I can't get to this...
