Three C's

HI I read about three 'c's.

But i have not come across any sentence in which concision is the only criterion basis which the correct answer can be chosen.

Can you please give any such examples.

Isn't "per capita consumption " and "packs per person " redundant in the wrong answer choices? yes. (that point was addressed in the initial post on this thread, but it's worth mentioning again, i suppose) I think answer choice "E" is wrong not because it doesn't conta...

thanks Ron! Let me generlize this - Less and more can act both as an adj or as an adverb. Hence, basis the context of the sentence, we need to make out whether 'less/more' is modifying the adjacent noun or a verb. Please correct if I am worng. Thanks for all the help!. Rajat

thanks Ron!. I tried to UN-learn the rules (obviously it can't be done overnight, but I gave it a shot to see if it works for me). Two benefits:- a) expands the boundaries of the thinking process b) makes you feel relax unburdened by the rules. Though it requires practice to un-learn, if it gets you...
