Re: Boomerang - Impulse shopping

D. those in department stores, do very little impulse shopping; someone who comes in for a basketball will leave with a basketball only and not buy a pair of skis and a boomerang as well 1. Is the usage "with a basketball only" correct? I felt it should have been "with only a basketba...

Re: If x is a positive number less than 10, is z greater than

Hi Ron,

Reading the first statement, I treated this as a weighted average problem with x and 10 as the data points. Since z is closer to 10, it has to be more than the average. Hence Sufficient. Is this approach correct?

%of new detections = no:of new cases/total no: of workers I was tempted about option D that states the denominator remains the same. Say there are total=100 workers. First set of new diagnoses=10/100. 1. After eliminating the compound 20/100. and keeps increasing..Thus there is no reason to blame th...

Re: Help with a standard deviation question

I solved this as a weighted average problem.

2(98)+3(58)/5=mean

Thus mean = 74. Was I lucky or is my approach legitimate?

Thanks

Hi Ron,

Won't opening new Souper stores pull in people who are driven away by crowds(loosely similar to the logic in option A)

Thanks
