Which is a relative clause and must refer back to a noun. Which indicates back to the noun that do not require much emphasis.

Hi

Why C is correct? intended is past tense, the sentence does not indicate past tense or passive voice such as "is intended to make money"? Why choice D is also wrong?

The "it" here is not clear as mentioned by cfaking. Pronoun should be properly refered back to its antecedent . Even there is a proper antecedent, "behind in its paying" sounds awkard.

Thanks Ron, Just to clarify, it should be "intended" by someone or something for the passive construction right? I do know the following construction: "the gold, taken from the tomb of Pharaoh X, ..." as taken is a form of action. Is intended also a form of action and we can use ...

Is the answer B.

My working:

1* -3 = -VE

5*-4 = -VE

Number of variation = 2

hence (B).

I thought B sounds parallel too. "The melting of polar ice caps and the rising sea level"..

E: How does "melting of the polar ice caps and a rise in sea level" parallel?

Instructor can share some thoughts?

I think is B. Being being sold for three times the price "than" the drug maker charges for another product.

Subject verb agreement.

List- singular, hence has been

Animals-plural, hence exhibit

Down to C & D. exhibit a preference for using is the correct idiom..

If i remember correctly, which must modlify the noun that immediately predeceding it. Here, in B) which modifies country rather than book market.

In E) which correctly modify book market.

B: technology aim at helping to A, while B and improving C and D.
E: technology aim at helping to A and B, while improving C and D-Parallel.
