Scores in MGMAT CAT Test

by happymanocha Sat Mar 03, 2012 1:49 am

Hello friends,
I gave my MGMAT CAT test 1 last month and scored 600, which i thought was correct according to my prep. I did not take AWA in this test.

I gave another test and scored 480. I do not understand the difference of 120. Score was lower both in Q and V. Did any else experience the same results?

This is of course disappointing. I am planning to retake another test in couple of days with little more fresh mind but would like to hear others experiences.

There are a lot of reasons why your score could drop that much - timing, fatigue (did you do the essays the second time around?), nerves, etc. Read this article and do the analysis described.

When you're done, come back here and tell us what you discovered. You can also use this article to analyze your strengths and weaknesses in general:

If you have any timing issues (and you probably do - everyone does!), read this:http://www.manhattangmat.com/blog/index.php/2011/06/21/everything-you-need-to-know-about-time-management/

Let us know what you figure out and we'll help you figure out what to do about it.
