Can you please explain why C is preferable to B? Is 'grounds to' incorrect? Thanks.

It's idiomatic usage, yes. I'm pretty sure that 'grounds to' is just plain wrong, although I will query some of our other instructors to make sure.

Both are valid, but have ground for [doing] sth is more frequent(Althong Longman list have grounds to do something as a idiom)
just type have no * grounds in google!

Which is the right answer here - B or C? I think it should be B. Thanks for all your help

Thanks,

Request experts to explain which option is correct "B" or "C"

1000SC is a banned source because it illegally uses copyrighted problems without permission. (And, even if it didn't, we'd ban it anyway - a lot of the problems in the set are fine, but there are a number of bad ones that can actually mess up your study if you use them!)
