Retake CATs

by DeeptiD353 Fri Oct 23, 2015 7:22 am

Hi... I had attempted the 1st CAT last year and after that never came back to this site... not because it was tough but I had change of plans... I want to give it again. Is there any chance of retaking the CATs?

Regards,
Deepti

Do you have access to the full set of CATs or are you talking just about the 1 free CAT that anyone can take?

If you have access to the full set, you can just keep taking as many CATs as you want. The only issue is that, after 6 tests, you may see questions that you've seen before. (So you don't want to waste tests by taking too many or taking them too closely together.)

If you are talking about just the 1 free test, did you finish the test? Or did you only start it and then pause it? If you didn't finish it, you could ask our student services team to re-set that test for you, and then start all over again.

If you finished the test, though, and they re-set it, then you will lose all of your data. If you don't care about that, you can ask them to do that - but just FYI that that will happen.
