in cat exams , when I look at the results and the type of the questions in the Verbal overview , there is a problem type called Resolve the problem, Is it a discrepancy question but stated instead in another words " Resolve the problem "?

This is a rare question type that only sometimes appears on the test. It is similar to a Discrepancy question, but asks you to resolve some kind of problem (vs. a strict discrepancy). You can approach these in a similar way.
