Reset MGMAT

by mrollins Sat Sep 12, 2009 10:46 pm

Hi instructors,

I began a free MGMAT practice test back in March, casually...4 months later I became an MGMAT student and unfortunately I did not start with CAT1 but rather got right into the material. Now I am ready to take CAT2 and realize that I never completed CAT1. I would like to take CAT1 now (in lieu of 2) but when I begin the exam it starts at question 12 (where i left off on that free exam in March). Is there someone who can reset my CAT1 so that I may get an accurate assessment of my standing? Thanks!

Contact tech support (techsupport@manhattangmat.com or 800.576.GMAT) for help. You can also just do test 2 and leave test 1 unfinished!

Thanks for the reply, Stacy. I was going to go ahead with Test 2 but it does not appear until you finish Test 1, it seems. I will be contacting tech support.

It won't appear as "test 2." There's just a "start" button that you can use at any time to start a new test. Only once you pause or finish a new exam will it show up with its own number as a separate exam.
