reading comprehension format - Do passages skip around?

On the actual GMAT do the reading comprehension passages skip around? Is one passage directly followed by 4 questions all related to the same passage or are questions randomly asked about different passages throughout the exam? As in, for a short passage with 3 questions, will you have questions 7, 8, and 9 for the same passage, or questions 5, 15, and 25 for the same passage?

all questions for a given RC passage will be asked one after the other until you are done with that passage..
