Reaching the end of time

by TestTaker Thu Sep 20, 2007 11:18 pm

What happens when you are reaching the end of the test and you haven't actually submitted the answer, but have selected the answer? Do you get the credit for that answer? Similarly, let's say you don't hit submit in AWA, but you have finished the test and the time runs out. Is that essay considered submitted?

Also, the book I have says there is a 5 minute break between AWA and Quant and another 5 between Quant and Verbal. Some posts said there is 10 minute break. Can someone shed some light?

10 minute break now, not 5 minutes.

Supposedly, if you have not yet hit "submit" and "confirm" whatever you do have checked (or written) on the last screen will be accepted. We don't actually see the raw data behind our results to know for sure... but the test-writers have said in the past that a last response will be accepted even if you didn't have time to submit and confirm.
