My answer will be D, 11
-4 is the least integer in the list K, and K consists of 12 consecutive integers. Range=Large- small integer, range=7-(-4)=11
(-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7)--->12 consecutive integers that list in K. :)

this is correct.

the positive integers in the list are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, so the range is biggest - smallest = 7 - 1 = 6.

don't miss words like 'positive'. this is not a hard problem, but it's easy to miss if you are inattentive.

Ron, why shouldn't we include both 1 & 7 when asked for range ? I mean we have a choice of 7 +ve numbers to choose here - so isn't the range = 7.

"range" is defined as the difference between the smallest and largest values. since those are 1 and 7, respectively, the range is 6.
it does not matter how many numbers are in the list.
