Questions Type Frequency

I am following up on Stacey's suggestion to ask in the forums about frequency of our question type weaknesses:

How often have the following question types appeared on recent GMAT exams?
Math
FDPs (Ratios, Fractions, and Percents)
Overlapping Sets
Linear Equations
Exponents and Roots

SC
Modifier
Idiom

CR
Explain Discrepancy
StaceyKoprince

Good question!

Common:
fractions and percents
linear equations (in different forms - eg, word problems from which you can write equations, etc.)
exponents and roots
SC modifiers

Medium:
Ratios

Medium to low:
overlapping sets
SC idioms. Note: two broad categories here. The ones that are more pure "memorization" / you must use this particular preposition with this verb, etc, are on the decline (eg, he is capable OF, but he has the capability TO). The ones that can affect meaning (particularly ones that deal with parallelism or modifiers), though, are still fair game.

Low:
CR Explain Discrepancy
