Question about AWA

by pwrbrker2000 Mon Nov 09, 2009 10:22 pm

I took my test a couple weeks ago, an got a 730 (Q47, V44). My AWA was a 5.0. Is my Score on the AWA something to be concerned about when appliying to top schools?

Should I retake the test?

Nope. Totally fine. Generally speaking, 4.5 or higher is considered "good enough" on the AWA. (The standards are a lot lower for that part of the test.)

Congratulations on the great score!

Ok great. That's good news. Anyway I owe my score to Manhattan GMAT. I originally scored a 630, so I was really happy with the improvement. The course was exactly what I needed.
