Query on my posting

by davidfrank Sat Apr 27, 2013 8:39 am

Hi Instructors,

I had posted a question on data sufficiency and question 35 and wanted to know why a question has been solved in a certain way in the og and suggested a way different from the one mentioned in OG, asking if my approach to the problem was correct or not. However my question was deleted and I was told not to discuss any OG problems.

Now I do see that there are OG problems from sentence correction that has been posted by a student and instructors have answered it. Can I know why certain problem was deleted while the others have been answered.

Regards,
Frank

OG questions that are printed only in the OG are banned because GMAC (the organization that makes the test) has asked us not to post for-pay copyrighted materials on the web.

Questions that are found in the free resource GMATPrep can be posted online - and sometimes questions that used to be in OG are now found in GMATPrep. So sometimes you will see former OG questions posted and answered - but that's because they are now free GMATPrep questions.

If you were looking in one of the two locked OG folders, note the dates in those folders. They were locked at the time that the request was made from GMAC - so the archives are still there, but no new questions can be posted (or answered).
