Quant doubts

I came across this question in one of the prep tests . If anyone could please help me solve it :

Q) What is the largest value of NON NEGATIVE INTEGER N for which 10N is a factor of 50!?
(ans is 12)

however I did not understand why 12 ?

Please help !

Check out the problem folders and post in the relevant folder depending upon the source of the problem you want to post (and make sure to follow the rules about banned sources). If you are a course student, you can also ask about other problems or issues before or after class or during office hours.
