Hi,

I am unable to understand the sol of q-15 in chapter 4 of book.

Q-15) Dr Crock's claims have been not corroborated by other scientists or published in a prestigious journal but have nonetheless garnered a great deal of attention from public.

Ans - Dr Crock's claims have not been corroborated by other scientists or published in a prestigious journal but have nonetheless garnered a great deal of attention from public.

According to me in --Dr Crock's claims have not been corroborated by other scientists or published in a prestigious journal but have nonetheless garnered a great deal of attention from public.

this is also a ques which is using not X but Y..so in this ques why have is used after but ..if we break llism ..we get -Dr Crock's claims have have nonetheless garnered a great deal of attention from public..so please let me knw the use of have after but as per llism concept..

Please read (and follow!) the forum guidelines before posting.

This folder is only for general strategy questions, not content or specific test problems. Check out the problem folders and post in the relevant folder depending upon the source of the problem you want to post (and make sure to follow the rules about banned sources). If you are a course student, you can also ask about other problems or issues before or after class or during office hours.

Unfortunately, you have now waited a long time for me to tell you that you posted in the wrong folder, and now you're going to have to wait again while your question moves through the queue in the right folder. That's why it's so important to read the forum rules and make sure you're posting in the right place!
