Parallelism (pg. 88) - SC Guide

by HS Mon Apr 28, 2008 12:09 pm

I was looking at page 88 of the SC guide and noticed the text has not been printed in full.

The last paragraph reads:

"Notice that the correct version of this sentence maintains the parallel structure within the idiom: eating ice cream is parallel to eating hot dogs. The phrase in the summertime has been moved to the front, so that"

Can you please help to provide the remainder? Thanks very much

You have a slightly different version than I do. In mine, the paragraph ends with "hot dogs." The final (partial) sentence you see is not in my book at all.

I also see problem in Page 88 of MGMAT SC Book

I also see missing print in Page 88 of SC.

After the examples of X must be parallel to Y in structure and meaning - the paragraph reads

----
Notice that the correct version of this sentence mantains parallel structure within the idionm: eating ice cream is parallel to eating hot dogs. The phrase in the summertime has been move to the front, so that

-----

There is no ending for this. The next pages and all other pages are fine.

Thanks

Yes, there was some kind of a printing problem, apparently. Mine doesn't have that partial sentence at all, so just ignore it! It was probably something that was supposed to be deleted and only got partially deleted.
