OG Questions break down

by MaxM527 Sat Aug 19, 2017 8:33 pm

Is their some sort of list that breaks down all the OG problems (2017) by type and difficulty? For example a list that categorizes quant problems by FDP, Algebra, Word Problem, Geometry, or Number Property and also by the level of difficulty?

I recommend the Official Guide Problem Sets document that can be found in your Student Center. This gives groups of problems covering all the different topics. However, note that the relative distribution of topics in the OG does not reflect the relative distribution of topics in the real test.

Also, I would caution you against becoming too topic focused. Part of the challenge of the GMAT is the surprise element of having a mixture of questions thrown at you. Plus, especially at a higher level, quant questions often involve more than one topic.

I am unable to download the OG2017 topic wise problem sets document from the Student Center. Where can I find this document?
Thanks!

If you are having trouble accessing anything in your student center, please contact our student services team (gmat@manhattanprep.com or 800.576.GMAT). They'll be happy to help. It's possible that your account is set to a different version of the OG, depending upon when you signed up.

Note for anyone else reading: This file is available to enrolled students or book purchasers; it's not freely available to the public.
