OG DS -D28 (Diagnostic Test)

by lsilva Tue Oct 16, 2007 8:31 am

Hi,

I was checking the answers in the diagnostic test and i found a discrepancy between the book and my answers.

to be more specific they ask me about the perimeter of a Isosceles triangle and they gave me two of the 3 sides. The answer

must be C

Does the book has a mistake?

Please post the whole question and we'll let you know! But I can think of a way in which that wouldn't be enough info (though I don't know the details of this problem). If two of the sides are 8 and 10 and the triangle is isosceles - is the third side 8 or is the third side 10? I don't know.
