OG #200 - Quant - Problem Solving

by ibabatun Mon Nov 10, 2008 4:55 pm

I am having a hard time understanding how you can extract two equations from this problem. I understand how you can extract (p+1)(n-10)=120 but I do not understand how you can extract pn=120.

Can you please explain how you can extract the equation pn=120 from the problem?

Thanks.

I'm very sorry, but we can't discuss OG questions on the web, due to a legal request from GMAC (the owners of the GMAT). I really wish we could help!
