Source : New York Times News paper.
Date :7 Apr'10
Article :Mr.Sharpe James.

I was just going through and found one exception to parallelism rule probably. Dont know about its accuracy, hence discussing at forum.

The article says :

Mr. James, a former gym teacher, worked out like an animal at Petersburg, lifting weights, walking three miles at a stretch on the prison track, playing what his roommate called a nasty game of handball. He exercised his mind as well, and after he finished his eggs, he went to fetch the fruit of those labors: his prison opus.

I think there is And missing in three parallel structure..Right !!
