Need help: is this a scam?

by 7ewis.chen Fri Nov 26, 2010 10:56 am

I did take GMAT test once, then I got the E-mail says:

Your response is important to us. The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), owners of the GMAT exam, is conducting a worldwide study to understand the decisions that lead some people to seek graduate management education and other to choose alternative educational and career paths. The success of this research depends on your participation-there is no substitute for your unique contributions.

We understand your time is valuable. If you complete the 15-minute survey by December 1, 2010 we will enter your name into the GMAC mba.com Registrants Survey Drawing for one of four US$100 cash prizes.

Is this turely an official survey or a scam?

They do sometimes send out emails and surveys, yes. Take a look at the email address. What does it say? It should end in mba.com or gmac.com - something only they can use.

If you're not sure, take a look at the website to see if you can find any info about the survey, or call to ask. And if you're still not sure, delete the email. :)
