Need an advice about community activities

by tgb3 Wed Mar 31, 2010 6:27 pm

Hi,

My wife is a long time (1.5 years) full time (!) volunteer (Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm). I'm a provider. Without my support she could not have volunteered at all. My full time job with long hours and often weekends spent at work does not leave any time to do community activities.
I am the one who is going to apply to a business school.
Can my financial and moral contribution to my wife’s volunteering be considered by MBA Admission as my community activity?

Thanks!

i'd be convinced, but you're not trying to convince me -- you're trying to convince the admissions committee.

in any case, this probably isn't the best folder in which to post this question; you'd be better off posting it in the folder entitled "ask an admissions consultant" (further down the page). that folder is manned by people who actually make their living consulting for admissions, and so would be more knowledgeable about things like this.
