I can't speak to what is "normal" when trying the MSR question bank for the first time, but I can tell you that you should aim for about 50% accuracy across the whole of the question bank.
One thing you should ask yourself as you review it: are you missing a particular question style more than others? For example, are you missing the questions which require you to select a "Yes / No" response to 3 statements more than you're missing a standard 5-option multiple choice question?
In my opinion, that's the really valuable information, because it can help you determine which styles of questions are worth more / less of your time on the actual test.
