Mine exact doubt is regarding option A how come " a proposed new style of aircraft could" is presented as a non essential modifier when the sentence cannot work without it ?

Hi Abhishek,

What is the source of this question? If it is GMAT Prep Verbal, please post it in that forum.

I don't think that "a proposed new style of aircraft could" is a modifier. The modifier is actually what follows after this - "by skimming along the top of the atmosphere".

OG is a banned source; it is illegal to post OG questions anywhere on the web. If you are in one of our classes, please ask OG questions during office hours or before/after class..
