Mistake in Manhattan GMAT CAT question

by iconstudent162 Wed Jun 29, 2011 8:29 am

The following question appeared in a test that I took in the CAT here in the practice center.

The greatest common factor of 16 and the positive integer n is 4, and the greatest common factor of n and 45 is 3. Which of the following could be the greatest common factor of n and 210?

Choices given were 3,14,30,42,70

Answer that was suggested to be right was D - 42

But that is incorrect as the GCF of 42 and 16 is not 4 but 2. Infact none of the options were right.

Wanted to give feedback, but was unable to do it through the link in practice center.

Thanks

Oops I misread what is asked. 42 is indeed right.
