Nice job on your first test!
Your goal is to increase quant from 45 (74th percentile) to 49 (87th percentile). You also want to increase verbal from 38-39 (83rd to 87th percentile) to 42-43 (95th percentile). If you achieve those two goals, your score will be in the low 700s. (So that takes care of your third goal.)
Your accuracy rates alone don't tell me much, unfortunately. We really need to look at ALL of the data together - accuracy, timing, and difficulty level. If, for example, your accuracy rate on something is 80% (by itself, seemingly very high for this test) but that comes with an average difficulty level of 450 and average time of 3m25s... well, that's not so good after all. :)
Take a look at this article and do the analysis described (thoroughly!!) on your last MGMAT practice test:
http://www.beatthegmat.com/a/2009/09/23 ... tice-testsThen come back and tell us what you found out. When I have that detail, I can then advise you what to do.
What books and other resources do you have available to help you study? You mention that you have some of our quant books. What are you using for the remaining areas of quant and for verbal? I'd like to know both about any practice problem materials you're using (such as OG) and any instructional materials you're using (those that teach you how to get better at certain things on the test - so, not OG).
Also, just to make sure, when you say that you took the tests under proper conditions, you did do the essays, right? In order to ensure that your practice test score is as valid as possible, it's necessary to mimic the test exactly - so I just want to make sure.
Finally, it sounds like you are studying on your own, so this article may be helpful to you:
