MGMAT Practice Test Score

by ramrajula Mon Sep 03, 2007 2:08 pm

Hello,

I took first 2 MGMAT tests. My scores are: MGMAT 1 (8/18/2007) --- 630(46Q, 31V)
MGMAT 2 (9/2/2007) --- 630(43Q, 33V)

I am going to do all the excercises again and then take the 3rd test. At this point of time, I would like how realistic MGMAT tests and what are my chancs in real GMAT.

Thanks
Ram

My timed scores with AWA's are
MGMT 1 610 V33 Q 41
MGMT 2 570 V33 Q37
MGMT 3 610 V34 Q 41

I want to know scoring 41-43 on Quant MGMT will translate to how much raw score on the actual test. i am confident about verbal will get 38-45 on the actual test but not sure about quant as its my weak area.

Our tests have a standard deviation of 50 points, compared to a standard deviation of 30 points on the official test. (In other words, we're pretty close to the official test's SD - but not even the official test is all that exact in providing a score that you can expect to get if you took the test again.)

So, for example, a score of 600 on one of our tests means that you are in the 550 to 650 range (one standard deviation from the score). A score of 600 on an official test means that you are in the 570 to 630 range.

Note that I'm only referring to the real official test above - not GMATPrep. The SD for that test has not been published; all we know is that it will be larger than the SD for the official test.
