Our tests have a standard deviation of 50 points, compared to a standard deviation of 30 points on the official test. (In other words, we're pretty close to the official test's SD - but not even the official test is all that exact in providing a score that you can expect to get if you took the test again.)
So, for example, a score of 600 on one of our tests means that you are in the 550 to 650 range (one standard deviation from the score). A score of 600 on an official test means that you are in the 570 to 630 range.
Note that I'm only referring to the real official test above - not GMATPrep. The SD for that test has not been published; all we know is that it will be larger than the SD for the official test.
