MGMAT Class Recordings

by ideloera Fri Aug 14, 2009 2:54 pm

Hi,

I've been using the class recordings and I noticed that at times when I'm going over class recordings the videos tends to keep a count faster than normal. For example, even though in Class Recording 3 (after May 2009) is 3 hours and 7 minutes long (according to the playing time clock on the class recording screen), I timed it from beginning to end (using a stop watch) and it really is only 2 hours and 43 minutes.

What i want to know is if the video is edited or if the shorter recorded time I logged is due to elluminate's server upgrade affecting video streaming?

Thanks!

Part of it is probably technical and part of it is probably the fact that the teachers sometimes continue to record for a while after class is over - eg, while people have questions - and then we crop that stuff. But we don't edit the content of the actual class! :)
