I have completed all 6 practice exams over the past 5 weeks with varying scores between 560 and 640. I never questioned the scores until my last exam, I felt like I did really well but only got a 560. I looked back at my first exam where I got a 560 and it's very hard to reconcile the two.
My previous exam almost 50% of the problems I got were in the 700-800 range (34% correct), 35% were in the 600-700 range (53% correct), the remaining 15% were below 600 (57%). This was heavily weighted toward harder questions
My First exam seemed more in line with a 560, 14% of the questions were in the 700-800 range (18% correct), 41% in the 600-700 range (44% correct), 32% in the 500-600 range (60% correct) and the remaining 13% in the 300-500 range (80% correct).
I did better on harder questions and had a lot more of them in my last test, which is why I'm so puzzled by the score. The first exam gave me more questions around the score that I got but that's not consistent with my last exam.
Has anyone else seen variances like this, are the scores you got on these practice exams consistent with what you got on the actual GMAT. Thanks
