Ok sorry I couldn't find the Strategy Guide subsection on the forum so I'm guessing that this is where questions relating to them go.

Ok 8th line down says

x - z

7int1 + 4 - (7int2 + 5) =

7(int1 - int2) -1 =

7(int1 - int2 - 1) +7 - 1

shouldn't this line instead be

7(int1 - int2) - 7 + 6

as (-7 + 6=-1)

little confused where the new 7 came from.

Just figured it out.

You've added 0 (-7 + 7).

So line I didn't figure out for myself is

7(Int1 - int2) + 0 - 1=

7(int1 - int2) -7 + 7 -1=

7(int1 - int2 -1) + 6

I'm glad you figured things out for yourself!

The folder you were looking for is Manhattan GMAT Non-CAT Math. Basically, there are two math folders for all MGMAT-sourced material: CAT questions and everything else. (We split them out so that people can avoid "spoiling" themselves for the CAT questions.)
