Last question of a section- Time expired

by rajeshlh Sat Jul 04, 2009 1:59 pm

Hi,
On the GMAT , if iam on the last question of a section and just manage to select the answer choice just when the time expired message pops up - does my answer to the last question count? So basically I have selected my answer choice but didn't have time to click the next button on the last question of the section.

Thanks,
Rajesh

On the official GMAT, if you have actually selected an answer before the time runs out (and also before you can confirm the answer), then the test WILL accept your answer.

Hi,

Is this applicable to the AWA sections as well? I took the GMAT today and I had typed my response to the Analysis of Argument section. But before I could confirm the response the dialog box for section time expiry appeared and I was immediately taken to the next screen.

Could you please confirm if my response was saved and will be scored? I am very anxious to know.

Thanks,
Ruchita

Yes, whatever was already typed in there was saved and submitted when the time ran out - so don't worry about it!
