Last 2 weeks of preparation

Hi,

I have my test scheduled on the 16th of November.

I started with GMAT CAT 1 - 650
Now I am generally at 700.
MGMAT 1 - 670
MGMAT 2 - 680 (Q48 + V33)
MGMAT 3 - 700 (Q50 + V35)
MGMAT 4 - 700 (Q50 + V35)

I want to take my verbal to 40 in the last 2 weeks - any suggestions?

You're looking to try to raise your score 15 percentile points, to roughly the 90th percentile, in two weeks. First, most people would need more time to do that. Second, it's even harder to do that in the last two weeks, and your quant score is likely to suffer as a result. I know that isn't a message you want to hear, but better to hear it now and make a good choice for yourself.

Ideally, your practice scores should be where you want them to be already 2 weeks out. Then the last 2 weeks are used for reviewing and solidifying the current level you're at, so that you don't fall short on test day. Not much improvement happens during this stage - certainly not 15 percentile points at the top levels of the test (it's a lot harder to go from 35th to 50th percentile than from 75th to 90th).

So. Now what? You're going to have to make a choice re: whether you're okay with your current scoring level, you keep your test date, and you start diving into review. If you do hit 700 on the real test, that's plenty adequate for the vast majority of schools.
