Is there marking for partial correct answers?

by Everything OR Nothing Wed Oct 16, 2013 5:50 am

If I correct 2 out of 3 questions asked under single question number, will I get some marks or will it be marked as 0?

Either all right or all wrong. Lightbulb on or lightbulb off.

(The grading scale is, accordingly, rather lenient.)

You are so correct.I did only 7 correct out of 12 and managed to get 6 in IR in my GMAT. Flunked in verbal. That's a different sad story :(

Basically, it's the same as the rest of the test in that way. E.g., if you correctly identify one DS statement as sufficient but not the other one, you don't get half credit -- it's still wrong. Or, if you have one of those I/II/III problems in the multiple-choice section, getting 2 out of 3 correct is still ... wrong.

But, sure. Seven out of 12 on the IR is pretty good.
