Is "hope that" subjunctive ?

"I hope that she listens to me?" as opposed to "I require that she listen to me". Or is it "I hope that she listen to me?" even though that sounds horribly incorrect. Exam in less than a week. A speedy reply would be appreciated. Thanks.

Actually, neither. In formal written English, 'hope' as used here would take the future tense: I hope that she will listen to me.

If you're using 'hope' for something that really IS taking place in the present (...you hope), then you would just use the normal present tense: 'Gee, I really hope he's at the airport by now.'

No subjunctive.
