I would say Zero as Even, because when a number divided by any number yields Remainder "zero" then the number is termed as Even. Also zero is neither positive or negative.

But, i think from GMAT perspective 0 is not counted as Even number.

Can anybody confirm?

Thanks

zero is definitely even (as are negative numbers such as -2, -4, ...)

from what i've seen, i don't think the gmat would test this sort of thing, though. when they give problems involving even, odd, divisibility, and the like, they always stick to positive integers (or at least they have in the past).

still, if you're using a number picking method and you have to pick an even number, then zero is fair game.

If x is an even integer, is x(x + 1)(x + 2) divisible by 4?

To answer this question if I choose x=0 , then the answer is a NO but if I choose x=2 then answer is yes.
