Initial benchmark problems

by rolandg Tue May 14, 2013 2:12 am

The MGMAT roadmap describes a list of benchmark problems. I'm not able to find any other reference to these list of problems in the roadmap book or others strategy guides. Does anyone know where to find the problem numbers?

Thanks!

Those OG problem lists are a part of the syllabus that goes along with the course - if you're not taking the course, you won't have those lists.

But, you can recreate them pretty easily. :) All we mean by "benchmark" problems is this: problems that are in the mid-difficulty range for that type.

When you're starting to do OG problems, don't start with the lowest-numbered or the highest-numbered problems. Start somewhere in the middle. (The higher the number, the harder the problem.)

If you're struggling, move to lower-numbered problems. If the middle problems seem easy, move to higher-numbered problems. If they're just right, stick with them and work your way up. (This is the Goldilocks approach to using OG. :)
