Idioms - Forbid X to do Y

Hi MGMAT Staff,

The correct idiomatic expression for the use of "Forbid" is listed as "Forbid X to do Y."

Is the expression "Forbid X from Y" also correct? For example, I forbid Indiana from entering the temple of Doom.

on the gmat itself (at least from what we've seen on official questions), the only acceptable form of the idiom is "forbid TO" (with an infinitive).
