How to score well in essay writing?

by target.gmat.2010 Thu Oct 14, 2010 6:54 am

Hi,

I'm planning to write GMAT in mid Dec'10. I'm ok with my material, guidance and pace required for scoring more than 700. However the same is as per the guidance by Manhattan forums, OG 12 and beatthegmat.com.
I'm still not confident about my prepration for essay writing. FYI english is not my mother language and i'm not very good reader either. However i took GRE in 2008 and socred 1200 (Q800+V400)/1600 and 2.5/8 in essay. So my confidence level is also very low in eassay writing. Plesae suggest me a study plan for improving my essay writing from 2.5 to at least 5.

Thanks.

Read this article and then practice away!

You can also get essays graded by GMAT Write (the official essay grading service from the makers of the exam) - they'll both grade the essays and provide feedback as to how to improve (for a fee). For details and pricing, go to www.mba.com and search for GMAT Write.
