How to review GMATPrep Results

by dan_hops Mon Sep 03, 2012 6:18 pm

Hi,

I took the GMATPrep (v. 2.1.279) practice exam a couple of days ago. I'd like to review the questions I answered incorrectly, but can't figure out how. Is there any way to review the questions I got wrong?

Thanks,

Dan

Sadly, once you click out of the section or close the software, you can't get back to the actual questions. It's really frustrating, I know - I wish they'd change this "feature." :(

For future, know that you need to take screen shots of everything. Don't do this during the test, but right after it's over, do NOT close the software or even click into any other part of the software. Go to the review screen and screen shot EVERYthing. I recommend taking 2 screen shots of each problem: one just for the problem itself and one showing what you picked, along with the correct answer.

Also, GMATPrep does not give you per-question timing data. When you take it again, have a timer handy and time yourself on every question. Best to find a timer program for your smartphone (if you have one) that will let you just keep pushing a button to record the time at which you pushed the button (this capability is called "lap" timing), so that you don't have to write down the time after every problem.
