How to change a CAT time limit

by Guest Fri Apr 25, 2008 5:16 pm

I started my first CAT and set 120 sec time limit per question. Now i want to change it, because when the time is over the system automaticly transfers me to the next question. Is it possible while doing the CAT?

I don't think so, but contact tech support to find out for sure (techsupport@manhattangmat.com). Unfortunately, you might just have to start a new test entirely. If they can't set it back to normal timing, ask them if, at the least, there's a way to increase the per-question time limit.

For others, although we give you the flexibility to do this, I don't recommend it unless you are really struggling with spending too much time on problems and you need to force yourself to learn how to complete problems within 2 minutes. Even then, I'd make the limit 2.5 min because you're not going to be able to think well during the last 30 seconds while the clock is ticking away...
