How to calculate points for Drill timing (15-30 guess)

by guest Tue Sep 30, 2008 5:15 am

It says "Check the answers when you are finished and give yourself 1 point for each answer choice you correctly eliminated. Any score of 30 or better means you are making effective educated guesses.

I used the data sufficiency grid and arrived at the answer B after eliminating A and D. That answer was correct. Do I give myself 2 points because I eliminated A and D or do I include C and E in my elimination so my points will rise to 4?

When you're doing this drill, you're supposed to spend only 30 seconds eliminating what you think are wrong answers. So only count the ones that you eliminated in the first 30 seconds and without doing any work to try to solve for the right answer - just things that you could tell were wrong without doing any of the "official" work to get to the right answer.
