How important are the official practice tests

by adam.b.sterling Mon Apr 20, 2009 12:02 pm

Hello,

My exam is in four days (Friday) and I have taken four of the MGMAT practice tests (I scored pretty much at my goal on the last practice test). I have not taken one of the official practice tests yet. How important is that? I can create time to take one tomorrow morning (3 days before my test).

Thanks!

Not that important. I do think GMATPrep tests are important to work into your study if you can, because they are the most like the real thing. But, at this point, it's not worth it to take a practice test within a few days of the real test. You can't get anything positive out of it (not enough time to learn anything) and you run the risk of either tiring yourself out or reducing your confidence if you don't do as well as you'd like.
