Grammar Question: Countable and Uncountable Nouns

by manhattangmat.2k1 Sat Nov 05, 2011 4:48 pm

Hello all,

I have a question regarding how GMAT treats nouns such as "Pollutants". English dictionaries both British (Cambridge) and American (Webster) characterize those nouns as Countable. On the GMAT however, I have encountered problems where the OA considers these nouns to be uncountable.

Any help appreciated,

Best Regards,
Andreas.
