GMAT retake advice needed!!!

My gmat score is 640.(Q48 V28). I am planning to apply for universities in round 2 . I have 3 options now:
1. Retake GMAT(1st week of Dec) and apply for universities in round-2
2. Retake GMAT and then apply for spring 2015
3. No retake

If I go for:
option-1: WIll I have time to finish the application process after writing GMAT( say,1st of week of Dec) and still apply in r2?
option-2: will it be good to go for spring admission?
option-3: Is it okay to apply with this score itself?

Which of the above options should I choose? Please advise!!!

I would love to help - but those are admissions questions, not GMAT questions, and I'm not an admissions expert. You really need to talk to an admissions consultant. There's a folder here called "ask an admissions consultant" and you can also try going directly to the websites of admissions consultants to see whether they have their own forums or other way of asking questions.
