Gmat Quant Inaction problems

by surya_basu Wed May 01, 2013 12:01 pm

Hi,
I bought the Manhattan Quant Books.
My Quant Strategy (4 weeks): Use Manhattan Quant Books to revise concepts and then solve Official Guide Problems at the end of each Manhattan Quant Books. (incl Advanced Sections)
Question:
Do I need to solve Inaction Problems at the end of each Manhattan Quant chapter ? (Is it too much or do selectively ?)

I'd recommend that you do some, but not necessarily all. Do enough to know that you "get" that chapter. If it's still a struggle, study the chapter more and then try some other in-action problems. If you're fine with them (and make sure to try some of the higher-numbered problems), then you can move on to the next chapter!

For the OG problems, make sure NOT to solve them only chapter-by-chapter. Try one or two after finishing a chapter, but then start doing mixed sets of problems. The real test always mixes everything up and never tells you what kind of question it's about to give you - so you have to make sure that you can jump around among topics and that you know how to identify the random question that just popped up. :)
