GMAT Prep Pract Test #8

by abby.perlman Mon Jan 10, 2011 3:09 pm

Hello,

This prob essentially said that if R is the range of height in group A and G is the max height in group A. And if S is the range of height in group B and H is the max height in group B. Would the shortest person in group A be taller than the shortest person in group B.

1) R<S
2) G>H

So I rewrote this inequality as is G-R>H-S.

The answer is C but I chose E. Can someone explain how they came to this conclusion?
