GMAT PREP analysis

by callharsh Sun Jul 17, 2011 5:38 pm

Hello

I've taken the GMAT prep practice test but accidentally skipped the score card. So, i couldn't view my score on the test. Can you please suggest what could the possible score be from the following brief info. about the test ?

INFO.:

QUANT :
Answered : 37 questions
Incorrect : 7 questions

The incorrect answers are at question numbers :

14 , 28, 31 , 32 , 33 , 34 , 35

VERBAL :
Answered : 41 questions
Incorrect : 14 questions

The incorrect answers are at question numbers :

1, 5 , 13 , 17 , 22 , 29 , 30 , 32 , 35 , 36 , 37 , 38 , 39 , 40

I understand that its not possible to give an exact score but please give me a rough score based on any previous experiences !!!

Thank you in advance

Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way to get even a rough score from that data. The score is heavily dependent upon the difficulty levels of the questions you received, and that information isn't available. I'm sorry - but the scoring is not primarily based on the number that you got right or wrong. :( About the most I can tell you is that you didn't score 750+ and you probably didn't score under 500.

I am noticing one thing though that might be a concern. You have a string of questions wrong at the end of each section. Were you having timing problems? Were you having to rush at the end of each section? Whatever your score was, it was brought down at the end in both sections - so that's definitely a problem that needs to be fixed. Because of the strings of wrong answers, I would venture to guess that you did not score above 700 (though possibly you were in that scoring range before the strings of wrong answers).

Start doing what it says. :)
